CAPTAIN’S DAY – CLOSING DAY

What a great turn out for our final club day of the season. We had an afternoon of fun games, the sun shone and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Prizes were awarded for the winners of each game so there were plenty of winners!
Mark Quilty had his first win of the season!!! – he won the spider

There were target games, wedges and everyone enjoyed playing cricket!

We had a lovely tea with Pimms, thanks to those who made cakes – and a special mention to John Flavell who baked some lovely cakes (Bake off next year John!)

And we have raised money from the afternoon for a worthy charity the Oliver Curd Trust who have two caravans locally to provide somewhere families with a child with cancer can come for a holiday.

Thanks to all the helpers and of course to Peter and Vanessa

A TOTAL OF £220 WAS RAISED FOR THE OLIVER CURD TRUST – THANK YOU
