The weather was kind to us as 60 Polegrove members descended upon the hallowed greens. A huge ‘Thank you’ from all the players goes to the key people that keep us all free from the worry and organisation of these events, we just turn up and play!
The bowling was great fun, the cakes and Ploughman’s exceptional with teas and coffees available throughout the day….how did we manage to bowl after all that lunch?. Even though the day was a lighthearted mix of laughter and exuberance there was also a steely competitiveness among the players.
