Sussex County Vice Patrons – Men’s section Pullen Cup Final held at Newick Bowls Club.
Mark Broadway Sussex County President for 2022 was in attendance to present the trophy to the winning team.
Yesterday (Friday 16th) saw the historic return of the Pullen Cup to Division 1 Sussex County Vice Patrons having beaten Division 4 in a nail-biting finish down to the last end on the last rink. Peter Copper, Mike Cross, and Vic Stevens represented Polegrove as part of the team which included members from Bexhill, Eastbourne, Gildredge Pk, Hailsham, Hampden Pk, Herstmonceux, Rosemount, Sidley Martlets, Wadhurst and White Rock. The last time Division 1 held the Pullen Cup was in 2006!
Our goal is to retain it next year.
