The recently acquired chair enables a valued club member, Ben, to fully participate – brilliant fruit from Nicki’s hard work last year. (Mum steers well with both vehicle and bowls!) What a joy to witness today at the opening club event of the 2023 season.
Everyone enjoyed the cricket evening last night. It was a competitive tussle between England, Australia, India and West Indies. Everyone who took part had a great deal of fun, laughter could be heard across the green. Today we welcomed 6 veterans of the Parachute regiment to bowl at Polegrove. They all enjoyed themselves immensely and were very competitive. A great morning was had by all and the Gentlemen generously donated us £50, for which we are extremely grateful.
