Today was Polegrove bowls club’s opening day for 2025. The mayor of Bexhill, Paul Wilson, cut the ribbon on the newly refurbished pavilion and the town crier, Jones Bartholomew, called for everyone to have a successful bowling season. Polegrove are successful again with a fantastic win over Motcombe Gardens to take the coveted Langham Cup. The winning team beat their opposition 12-8 and consisted of (see below) Terry Adams, Tilly Rawles and June Pollard.
