Champion of Champions
Remember our 2025 club champions? They qualify to enter both county and national Champion of Champions competitions the following year. They have done exceedingly well.
John – won the County area final and now plays Alex Paine of Buxted Park at Worthing Pavilion on 16th August
John – lost to Michael Stone (who went on to win the Area Final) in the Nationals (but gained his revenge in an earlier round of the County competition)
Rachel – won the County area final but lost to Adel Wakefield of Rottingdean in the semi finals
Rachel – has got through to the last 8 of the Nationals and now plays Sophie Tolchard at Leamington on 28th August
Rachel is also in the round of 16 of the National Over 60′ Singles playing at Leamington on 12th August
