APPLEYARD END OUR RUN!

…and what a run it’s been.  Its all been said before but everyone who took part, subbed and supported should be so proud of the way Polegrove battled their way to the last 16 in the National Top Club.  To be just 18 shots off the Appleyard score and winning on one rink is an amazing achievement especially considering the quality of the opposition.

Polegrove were surrounded by England internationals, Commonwealth gold medalists and an England coach but stood shoulder to shoulder with them and competed admirably alongside them.  I am sure you will all agree that the squad attitude, competitiveness and spirit is certainly a strong platform to build on for the following seasons ahead.

Well done girls!
