TRIPLES DAY

Everyone had a brilliant triples day in the blazing sun

Thanks to all the hard working ladies who helped with teas, coffees and lunch which was enjoyed by us all

The day started with a spider that was won by Sharon Minter.
There were some very competitive games and the cup for the best morning score was won by Clive Jeffrey, Simon Merrett and Elliott Gatward with a score of +10
The afternoon best score was also +10 and the winning team was Terry Adams, Julia Miller and Fiona Cook

An all female team of Hazel Cain, Pat Hill and Bjorg Simpson led going into the final afternoon game but suffered defeat so handed the winners trophy to another all female team, Margaret Adcock, Lois Crone and Debby Merrett who scored +14
Worthy runners up were Peter Rawles, Richard Green (am), Janice Haylock (pm) and Gilda Gardner with a score of +12

Special thanks go to Ray Hodd, Mark Quilty, Mary Williams, Lesley Gale, Doris Wickenden, Rosamund Wood and June Pollard for all their hard work and help on the day. And to all those who donated raffle prizes and baked cakes
