The weather held out for us and a fabulous time was had by all. Polegrove managed to win 105-88 with 5 winning rinks. Rosamund, Gilda, Charlie and Julian were top rink 23-12 Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and we’ve received lots complimentary messages (including one to set up an outside catering business – praise indeed!…
Our President looking focused on our first club fine weather afternoon get-together of the 2023 season but Rosamund has something to counter behind her back! Donations to Tree of Hope make a real difference to seriously ill and disabled children and their families all over the UK. By donating to Tree of Hope directly, you are allowing us to help children receive the medical treatment, therapy and equipment they need. These treatments are not usually available via normal channels.
Today we welcomed 6 veterans of the Parachute regiment to bowl at Polegrove. They all enjoyed themselves immensely and were very competitive. A great morning was had by all and the Gentlemen generously donated us £50, for which we are extremely grateful.
