The Fab Four

Today 48 members enjoyed the club opening afternoon. The sun shone down on us, we were treated to an array of delicious cakes, there was a lot of laughter and some pretty good bowling for so early in the season.

We lost count of the number of people who said the food and drink served during the Bexhill Open was amazing. Thanks to Margaret and Denise who worked tirelessly the whole week, and with help from a good number of the members, it proved yet again to be a great success. Well done to all….

Rachel Mackriell was crowned County 2 woods champion on Sunday following a convincing 21-12 win. She will now play in the National finals at Leamington V Bucks on August 12th She still has chance to qualify in the senior singles and champion of champions The senior fours team of Alison Watt, Jo Hearsum, Margaret Adcock…

Congratulations to Rosamund, Peter and Julian for winning the Sidley Open Triples on Saturday (20th June). There were some good teams there, so a great achievement. All four Polegrove teams acquitted themselves magnificently on a long day.
