Mike Cross has successfully completed his umpire training and is now a registered Regional Umpire for the English Bowls Umpire’s Association. Another good achievement for a Polegrove member. We now have two registered umpires available for any county matches requiring them.
…..and he did!!!! Huge congratulations to Tilly & Peter on their recent engagement, although we understand it’s not that recent….Tilly has been wearing the ring for a little while now expecting someone to notice. Well, finally we did and from everyone at Polegrove, we wish you both a very long and happy life together.
Polegrove are successful again with a fantastic win over Motcombe Gardens to take the coveted Langham Cup. The winning team beat their opposition 12-8 and consisted of (see below) Terry Adams, Tilly Rawles and June Pollard.
