Today was captains charity day and Peter chose Action for ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) as his chosen charity. The afternoon started with a bowls spider then we played 6 fun bowling games. Mike Cross has successfully completed his umpire training and is now a registered Regional Umpire for the English Bowls Umpire’s Association. Another good achievement for a Polegrove member. We now have two registered umpires available for any county matches requiring them.
