Today was captains charity day and Peter chose Action for ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) as his chosen charity. The afternoon started with a bowls spider then we played 6 fun bowling games. Donations to Tree of Hope make a real difference to seriously ill and disabled children and their families all over the UK. By donating to Tree of Hope directly, you are allowing us to help children receive the medical treatment, therapy and equipment they need. These treatments are not usually available via normal channels.
Mike Cross has successfully completed his umpire training and is now a registered Regional Umpire for the English Bowls Umpire’s Association. Another good achievement for a Polegrove member. We now have two registered umpires available for any county matches requiring them.
