POLEGROVE QUIZ NIGHT

Congratulations to: June Pollard, Denise Hodd, Chris Talbot, Richard Purdy and Richardd Boutle on their Triples league win….well done to you all. A full league table to follow…….but well done everyone who took part and enjoyed a fun league during the summer (and not so summer) months.

The draws have been completed and all the competitions are now on the notice boards.  Please be aware that some competitions have “Play on dates”.  Others need to be arranged by the challengers with their opponent(s) but don’t leave it until the last minute to arrange as you may not fit them all in on…

The weather held out for us and a fabulous time was had by all.  Polegrove managed to win 105-88 with 5 winning rinks. Rosamund, Gilda, Charlie and Julian were top rink 23-12 Everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and we’ve received lots complimentary messages (including one to set up an outside catering business – praise indeed!…

Today was Polegrove bowls club’s opening day for 2025. The mayor of Bexhill, Paul Wilson, cut the ribbon on the newly refurbished pavilion and the town crier,  Jones Bartholomew, called for everyone to have a successful bowling season. Having had a wonderful run in the Unbadged singles Chris lost to Nigel Froud in the final today. What a fantastic season Chris has had.
